About Us
Nunavut Public Library Services
Headquartered in Baker Lake, Nunavut, Nunavut Public Library Services (NPLS) serves the territory by providing materials, technical support, programming resources, and professional guidance for 7 partnered community libraries across Nunavut.
Public libraries are vital community spaces that support personal empowerment, learning, and positive change. Nunavut’s public libraries are safe, welcoming spaces that are open to everyone, regardless of affiliation, appearance, belief, gender, preference, origin, or ability. They help patrons access the information they need, build knowledge, and create opportunities for personal growth.
Nunavut Public Library Services supports access to books, magazines, DVDs, and other physical materials through our partnered library locations across the territory. NPLS also provides online resources for patrons, expanding access to information, learning, and library services across Nunavut.
