NNELS

NNELS Logo

NNELS (National Network for Equitable Library Service) provides accessible books and advocacy for Canadians with print disabilities — including those who are blind, visually impaired, have dyslexia, or have physical disabilities that prevent reading conventional print. The collection is owned and sustained by Canadian public libraries and is available in audiobook, DAISY, EPUB, PDF, e-text, and electronic Braille formats. Readers access NNELS through their local public library. NNELS is funded by the provincial and territorial governments of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon, and is administered by the BC Libraries Cooperative.
